So, no update in a while, but this doesn't mean I didn't draw, yo!
Let's start in force. Another pair of character avatar paints for Dream Reactor's Spellweaver Trading Card Game. (They've opened a Facebook page btw - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Spellweaver-Trading-Card-Game/507761352615342?fref=ts ) So here's a normal and advanced version of the Honor faction's hero.
Here is my first ever book cover that I've done for Jan Oldenburg's Totentrickster. A fun (or deadly) group of adventurers.
My participation in the latest Bloodsports along with the studies:
A quick painterly paint of Brienne of Tarth. I plan to explore this style and do more GoT characters this way:
A little something i did for a friend:
A sort-of-quick study of the lovely photographer Geraldine http://gestiefeltekatze.deviantart.com/ . Her gallery is extremely inspirational.

This one is after chinese master Zhaoming Wu:
Wait, am I even allowed to put this many pics in one post? I GUESS I'LL FIND OUT NOW!!
Fantastic to see you back in the blog saddle, and some great work - I mean, it's all great, but some stand out more than others ;)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I do find the Stag's head image disturbing, mainly due to all those eyes *shiver*!
Love the book cover, and especially the last few portraits and facial studies. Keep post bud, love seeing your work.
Welcome back :D
PS: if you're cool about it, I'd love to do a post about your blog on an occasional 'Art Spot' I do, where I link artists' sites on my blog and write a small piece to basically promote digital artists and their work. If you're ok with that, then please let me know :)
DeleteHey man thanks, sure, I'm glad you've considered me for that. Let me know if you need anything regarding that.
DeleteYour blog is now featured on my'Art Spot' posting - to view just click on my name and take a peek. It's a basic plug I do for guys (and gals) like yourself, as I love, love, love digital and concept art. Basically I see it as a means of introducing those familiar, and those unfamiliar, with artists such as yourself. And if it brings you an even wider audience, brilliant :)!
ReplyDeleteThank you for agreeing to be part of the Art Spot - and if you like short stories of sci-fi and fantasy, then feel free to have a browse of my stuff.
All the best, my friend.
